President Trump Announces U.S. Won’t Leave Syria Until One Critical Mission Is Complete

The U.S. Military has a job to do.

When the terrorist group ISIS began running amok, it’s our military that clamped down and started chasing these killers to the ends of the earth.

We chased them right back to one of their little rat’s nests in Syria, and the battle has raged ever since.

However, some citizens were a little irked when President Donald Trump said he wanted to bring those troops home immediately.

Now, while the President’s sentiment is appreciated (we’d rather not see more American lives lost, of course), the goal remains to eradicate ISIS.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders made this abundantly clear, as she wrote in a new statement to the press.

Via Breitbart:

The military mission to eradicate ISIS [the Islamic State] in Syria is coming to a rapid end, with ISIS being almost completely destroyed.

She then added that the U.S. was “committed” to finishing the fight and completely destroying the Islamic State in Syria.

Translation: The U.S. Military isn’t going anywhere until every last murderous dog is found and snuffed out.

This follows Trump’s widely reported words:

I want to get out. I want to bring our troops back home. I want to start rebuilding our nation.

We can definitely get behind that idea but let’s complete the mission first.

The good news is that we’re approaching allies and friends to see about adding a military presence to Syria in the future.

As Sanders wrote:

We expect countries in the region and beyond, plus the United Nations, to work toward peace and ensure that ISIS never re-emerges.

It can’t be allowed to, that’s for darn sure. This scourge must be purged at all costs!
