We are only weeks away from the first states to go to the primary polls. Republican candidates continue to make their case with GOP voters.
To stand out from the crowd, some of these candidates have made big promises to the country.
One in particular has vowed to shut down a notoriously corrupt government agency. And while on the campaign trail, a former agent and supporter gave him a serious warning.

“Jesus, be careful,” the man said to Ramaswamy, who assured him that they would be. The man quietly inferred that he was not giving a warning to be politically careful.“You mean ‘be careful’ be careful,” Ramaswamy said. The man nodded.
“Very careful,” he said. He briefly detailed his experience in a counter terrorism unit in the FBI, over two decades, saying “I was a cop before that.”
“You’re worried,” Ramaswamy asked.
“Yes, I’m worried,” he said.

A former FBI agent and Vivek Ramaswamy supporter met him in Iowa. During their exchange, the man warned Ramaswamy to be “very careful.” Ramaswamy revealed this man agreed with him that the corruption within the FBI requires it to be shut down.
Ramaswamy believes that America only needs local police and prosecutors. And at the federal level, we only need U.S. Marshals and the DOJ. He called the FBI an “intermediary bureaucracy” that is full of corruption.
Many Americans will agree with him. In recent years, reports have come out that have convinced many that top staff within the FBI are politically compromised. Ramaswamy believes the only solution is to shut down the agency.
This supporter warned that saying such things could put Ramaswamy in danger. He advised the candidate to hire some “very, very competent help.” He said that he needed to do “intelligence work” before he traveled to places.
This kind of warning will certainly upset many Americans. Why should a political candidate, a fellow American citizen, fear for his life over criticisms of a federal agency? Is America truly a free country, if politicians can’t criticize or hold accountable the FBI?
Many Republicans have accused Biden of weaponizing agencies like the DOJ, FBI, and IRS against his political enemies. Some have even called America a “banana republic” over Democrats’ seeming abuse of power.
More and more Americans believe the so-called deep state is actually running the country. Politicians are manipulated by powerful figures within intelligence agencies, who use their power for malicious ends.
