After Biden ‘Apologizes’ to Accused Murderer – Speaker Johnson Drops the Hammer on Joe

During Biden’s State of the Union address, Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene heckled the president. She demanded he say the name of a young woman, Laken Riley, who was murdered by an illegal immigrant.

Biden shouted, “Lincoln Riley,” offending millions of Americans. Yet he did admit she was killed by an “illegal” alien—but failed to take responsibility for it.

Soon afterward, Biden was quick to apologize for using the term “illegal.” He seemed to be more concerned with offending a man who murdered an American citizen. This has not gone over well with Americans. And the Speaker of the House had something to say about it.

From Fox News:
“The president is cowering to his base and showing deference to a man who deserves none. This man is an illegal immigrant who brutally murdered Laken Riley. President Biden should be apologizing to Laken’s family. What an embarrassment,” Johnson wrote on X…

The president later backtracked during his interview with Capehart, saying he should have instead used the word “undocumented” to describe Jose Ibarra.

Speaker Johnson blasted Joe Biden for appearing to apologize for calling the murderer of Laken Riley an “illegal.” He told an MSNBC reporter that he should have said “undocumented.”

Johnson said Biden was “cowering” to his far-left base while “showing deference” to a man accused of killing an American. Who did Biden not apologize to? Laken Riley’s family—for both forgetting her name and allowing this man into the country in the first place.

Biden has failed to apologize to the many Americans who lost loved ones at the hands of migrants he let into the country. The president has also failed to apologize to Americans forced to compete for jobs, housing, and resources with over 7 million illegal aliens.

Critics are in no way pleased that Biden is so careful to use the “right” term to describe people who broke the law to enter the country. In a recent White House document, Biden called these invaders “newcomers,” suggesting he expects them to stay in America.

Biden and his administration appear unconcerned with how their border crisis is hurting millions of Americans. But they are concerned, it seems, with letting in as many illegal aliens as possible.

Key Takeaways:

  • Biden appeared to apologize for calling Laken Riley’s murderer an “illegal.”
  • Speaker Johnson criticized Biden, calling him an “embarrassment.”
  • The president called Laken “Lincoln Riley,” insulting her memory and family.
