Back when Trump was elected in 2016, Democrats quickly spread the claim that he was a Russian puppet. They pushed this claim for years, in an apparent attempt to undermine his presidency. It seemed they wanted to ride that lie all the way to the election, to discourage voters from supporting him. Or worse.
That claim fizzled when a special counsel proved no American worked with Russia. So, Democrats needed a new claim to stop Trump from succeeding. For the last three years, they’ve pushed the line that Trump tried to “overthrow” the government. This is the basis for the endless indictments against him–and why one Democrat in New Hampshire wanted to remove his name from the ballots. But patriots had something to say about that and now, that weasel is running scared.

New Hampshire Secretary of State David Scanlan told NBC News on Monday he is “not seeking to remove any names” from the Republican primary ballot after Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk urged his supporters to call Scanlan’s office following reports Scanlan was weighing using the Fourteenth Amendment to keep former President Donald Trump off the ballot.
On Friday, Scanlan met with New Hampshire attorney Bryant “Corky” Messner to discuss Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, which says public officials are not eligible to hold office if they “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against” the United States.
The Secretary of State in New Hampshire, David Scanlan, was actively looking for a way to remove Trump’s name from the GOP primary ballots. He was consulting with lawyers for grounds to erase Trump, over wild claims that he violated the 14th Amendment.
What is the 14th Amendment? A measure that prevents anyone from holding office if they engaged in insurrection or rebellion. It was obviously passed to prevent Confederate officers from running after the Civil War.
Democrats have been banging the “insurrection” drum ever since 2021, as grounds to prevent Trump from returning to office.
The left is terrified of Trump becoming president again. So, they are pushing the wild claim that he tried to “overthrow” the government on January 6th. This is their last, desperate attempt to stop Trump from returning to the White House and flushing the swamp down the drain.
But conservative pundit Charlie Kirk mobilized his listeners to bombard Scanlan. He even told folks outside of New Hampshire to call Scanlan and confront him on his scheme. That put the fear of God into this leftist, who is now saying he is not trying to remove any names.
Uh-huh. How much do you want to bet that, had Americans not called him, he would have tried to erase Trump’s name? But Scanlan didn’t want any heat from the American public, so he backed down.
That is a lesson for all of us. Unless Americans stand up to the radical left, they will not back down.
