NASCAR has long been the favorite pastime of hard-working, salt-of-the-earth Americans. Because of its association with the South, country music, and Americana, people just assumed the sport embraced the same values we do. Eh… not quite.
It seems NASCAR has gone the way of the NBA, MLB, NFL, and NHL. The corporate executives who run the sport have bowed the knee to the radical left. In recent years, NASCAR has fallen in line with the woke agenda, pushing false narratives about its players and the country. But nobody expected they would cross the line to do what they are doing.

David Bernstein, a professor at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia School of Law, told The Daily Wire that NASCAR’s racially discriminatory program is “blatantly illegal,” noting that it would “seem to violate Title VII and the 1866 Civil Rights Act.”
Wow. NASCAR has a paid diversity internship posted on its website. One of the requirements for this paid position is that an applicant is not white. The listing states that you must “Be a member of one or more of the following races/ethnic minority classifications: Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Latino or Hispanic, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander.”
Missing from the listing? White or Caucasian. An applicant must be one of the listed races. If not, they are not eligible to apply to this program. Legal experts have pointed out that this is “blatantly illegal,” under the 1866 Civil Rights Act.
In fact, an applicant who is not able to apply because of their race would have legal standing to sue the company.
This is corporate America in 2023. Companies are so desperate to score points with the left, that they’d flip over and become racist… against white Americans. Apparently, Democrats don’t say “boo” when white Americans are denied opportunity.
That’s because the current dogma on the left is that white people are “systemically” racist and have allegedly benefited from a racist system spanning hundreds of years. So, the “only” way to balance the scales is to deny white people the same privileges as other races.
Sounds more like revenge than “social justice,” if you ask me. Go tell poor white families across the country, who are struggling to make ends meet that they don’t “deserve” the opportunities other people are given, because of their skin color.
I wouldn’t be surprised if NASCAR gets sued before you finish reading this article.
