Biden’s Campaign Makes 1 Desperate New Move – They Just Jumped Off an Expensive Cliff

It’s been just over a week since Joe Biden completely bombed his first presidential debate of this election cycle. When taking the debate stage against Donald Trump, Biden confirmed to the world that his own cognitive abilities are severely on the decline.

In the days since then, calls have been growing among Democrats for Biden to drop out of the race so that they could run a more viable candidate in his place. Instead of heeding these calls, however, Biden is defiantly refusing to drop out.

Not only that, Biden is also doubling down in a big way. On Friday, Biden’s campaign announced a $50 million battleground state ad blitz in what can only be described as a truly desperate attempt to turn things around for him.

From The Hill:
The TV, radio and digital ad blitz will target voters in battleground states on key issues including abortion, economic issues and painting former President Trump as a threat to American democracy and rule of law, according to the campaign.

The ads will also capitalize on programs with large, politically diverse audiences, including the 2024 Olympics, “The Bachelorette” season premiere and the Republican National Convention.

The Biden campaign will also be spending $17 million on a voter outreach campaign that will see President Biden, his wife Jill, Vice President Kamala Harris, and first gentleman Doug Emhoff travel to every battleground state this month.

These moves come off as both desperate and tone-deaf, given everything that has happened in recent days.

On Wednesday, Biden met with more than 20 Democrat governors at the White House. There, the 81 year-old president shocked them all by saying that he plans to stop scheduling events after 8 p.m. so that he can get more sleep.

In an even more disturbing twist, Biden jokingly tried to ease the governors’ fears about his mental capacity by telling them, according to The New York Times,

I’m fine — I don’t know about my brain, though.

Let’s just say that didn’t go over well.

It’s safe to say that at this point, Biden has become the Democratic Party’s worst nightmare. Instead of heeding their calls to step aside, he’s spending $50 million to shove himself even more down the throats of an American population that has already shown that they’ve had enough of him.

For years, the Democratic Party colluded with the mainstream media to hide Biden’s cognitive failings from the American people. Unfortunately for them, however, this simply isn’t going to fly anymore. Americans everywhere saw the true mental state of Biden on the debate stage last week, and they aren’t going to forget that.

Biden can spend as much money as he wants to, but all the money and ads in the world may not be able to win him this election. In the end, it seems that with every move Biden makes these days, he digs his own hole a little deeper.

Key Takeaways:

  • Biden is spending $50 million on an ad blitz in a desperate attempt to turn things around for himself.
  • Biden is doing this despite growing calls from Democrats to step aside so that they can run a more viable candidate.
  • This comes after Biden held a disastrous meeting with Democrat governors in which he pledged to stop scheduling events after 8pm in an attempt to get more sleep.
