The first debate between Trump and Biden was a raucous, throwdown affair. Trump had to spar with both his Democratic rival and the debate moderator.
No one is admitting it was great TV.
But because the left’s expectations for Sleepy Joe were slow low, the fact that he didn’t fall asleep was a big win.
Many in the liberal media are simply claiming he won.
But a new poll from a major network is showing something different:

Spanish speaking viewers of Telemundo expressed their preference of who won tonight’s presidential debate: 66% Trump 34% Biden. #DebateTuesday
Democrats must be crying in their booze today, as the Spanish-speaking network Telemundo revealed a shocking poll.
A massive 66% of their Spanish-speaking audience said Trump won the debate.
The pundits will be trying to explain this one for a while, especially as this might suggest who Hispanic Americans will support in November.
Perhaps they were just not impressed by Joe Biden’s trademark low energy and confused non-answers.
Maybe they were inspired by how intense Trump’s offensive strategy was.
Or maybe it’s because Trump promised to open up the rest of the economy and bring a vaccine ASAP.
Biden, on the other hand, was promising to lock down the entire country. His socialist-leaning policies might have many supporters’ Hispanic Americans (who fled socialist regimes) deeply worried.
Joe Biden, in lockstep with flailing California, wants to hamper our economy. He is more concerned with electric cars to battle climate change than the mom and pops who can’t open their stores.
Hispanic Americans are community-focused people. Many are business owners and hard-working family people.
Something tells me when they hear Biden’s policies, they are filled with dread.
Meanwhile, Trump has helped bring Hispanic unemployment down to historic levels. Despite the endless accusations from the left that he’s racist, Trump’s policies are working for everybody.
- The media is claiming that Biden won last night’s raucous first debate.
- But the Spanish-language network Telemundo, revealed 66% of viewers said Trump won.
- Biden has struggled to connect with Hispanic American voters.
