Biden Blindsided By Two New Reports – And Average American’s Are Not Happy

Just when it seemed like things could not get any worse in Joe Biden’s America, two new reports have come in that confirm that things are indeed in dire straits.

Though the Biden administration has repeatedly promised to tackle the staggering unemployment rate in this country, the Labor Department confirmed on Friday that the rate actually rose to 4.1 percent in June.

On top of that, while the Biden administration previously bragged that 272,000 jobs were created in May, these numbers were revised by the Labor Department today.

From The Hill:
The Labor Department on Friday revised May’s job gain down to 218,000 and April’s job gain down to 108,000, meaning the economy added 111,000 fewer jobs than first reported.

Biden loves to promote himself as being a president who prioritizes honesty and integrity. So much for that!

Making matters even worse, another report that was released on Friday revealed that owning a home in the U.S. is officially less affordable now than at any other time in the last 17 years.

Also from The Hill:
The typical costs of a home, including mortgage payments, property insurance and taxes, consumed 35.1% of the average wage in the second quarter, according to the report. This is the highest share since 2007 and is up from 32.1% since last year.

Rob Barber, CEO of ATTOM, said in the report that this affordability data presents a “clear challenge” for home buyers.

It should be noted that 2007 was right before the housing bubble burst. That makes these numbers especially terrifying, as we can only imagine what is to come.

No wonder millions of Americans have absolutely no faith in the economy under Biden’s leadership. Throughout Biden’s presidency, the economy has been a frequent thorn in his side. It is one of the many things that never seems to go right under his watch.

These reports also could not be coming in at a worse time for Biden. It’s been just over a week since he completely bombed his first presidential debate of this election cycle. When he took the debate stage against Donald Trump, Biden appeared confused for much of the time. When he did speak, he was often incoherent, leading to growing concerns over his cognitive state.

At a time when our economy seems to be verging on a crisis, Biden is the last person that America needs to be at the helm of this ship. After last week’s debate virtually did Biden in, these economic reports might just be the nail in his coffin.

Key Takeaways:

  • The unemployment rate in America is on the rise.
  • It’s harder to buy a house in the U.S. than it has been in the last 17 years.
  • Biden’s Labor Department is walking back the number of jobs that they’d bragged about adding in the U.S. in the month of May.
