We are thankfully just one month away from Joe Biden finally leaving office. After four long years of Biden driving this country into the ground with his woke policies, January 20 cannot come soon enough.
For decades, Jimmy Carter has been widely considered the worst president of modern times. He served only one term, from 1977 until 1980. He was then handily defeated by Ronald Reagan, who led the U.S. through a period of economic prosperity during his two terms as president in the 1980s.
It’s already clear that Biden has a lot in common with Carter. Both of them will go down as one-term presidents. Like Carter, Biden is also set to be succeeded by a strong Republican leader. Now, it’s been revealed that Biden may be challenging Carter for the title of worst modern president.
From Daily Mail:
President Joe Biden‘s tenure hit a new Jimmy Carter-era low and is closing in on another. On Tuesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 267 points or .6 percent down for the ninth straight day in a row – something that hasn’t happened since February 1978, when 100-year-old President Carter was in office, CNN reported using FactSet data.As Biden nears the end of his term, his poll numbers are closing in on Carter’s as well. At this point of his presidency Carter – and also Trump – had dire approval ratings.
Gallup’s comparison polling tool shows that both Carter and Trump – who had lost reelection to Biden but was spouting the so-called ‘big lie’ about his loss – sat at 34 percent approval. Biden’s approval rating stands at 37 percent but is trending downward, so he’s likely to leave with the same – or worse – numbers than Carter.
Trump Weighs In
President-Elect Donald Trump has long been comparing Biden to Carter.
“Jimmy Carter’s happy because he’s had a brilliant presidency compared to Biden,” Trump said on the campaign trail back in April.
While this is undoubtedly humiliating for Biden, he shouldn’t be surprised by it at all. Throughout Biden’s time in office, the economy has gone to shambles, and inflation has skyrocketed. Millions of illegal aliens have flooded our borders. Meanwhile, millions of real American citizens are struggling just to put food on the table.
Many Americans are old enough to see that Biden’s America is very reminiscent of Carter’s America. Both Biden and Carter prioritized woke policies over the economy, and the American people suffered as a result.
Carter was hit with national embarrassment when he lost to Reagan in a landslide back in 1980. Forty-four years later, Biden was humiliated in a different way when he was forced out of the 2024 presidential race by his own party before he had the chance to lose to Trump. Indeed, Biden’s debate performance against Trump back in June was so terrible that even his fellow Democrats lost all faith in him to win an election. Perhaps seeing that Biden was destined for a landslide loss reminiscent of Carter’s, Democrats decided to put him out of his misery by convincing him to drop out of the race.
In the end, the similarities between Carter and Biden could not be more obvious. Here’s hoping that the American people have learned their lesson, and that radical liberals like them are not elected to the White House in the future!
Key Takeaways:
- Biden joins Carter as two of the worst presidents of all time.
- The Dow fell for the 9th day in a row for the 1st time since Carter’s presidency.
- Biden is set to leave office with a similarly bad approval rating to Carter’s.
