While Donald Trump has a long history of supporting the military, Joe Biden has hit the skids recently.
A video emerged of him openly insulting soldiers.
That’s much worse than the unproven allegations the media threw at the president.
But both men didn’t serve in the military themselves—citing medical problems. That much is a proven fact.
So, why did Biden just get caught on video saying this:
2020 Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden falsely implies that he served in the military. From a campaign speech in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on 9/30/2020.
Joe Biden seemed to suggest that he was a veteran by saying “those of us,” who put on the uniform.
As usual, this might be a case of Sleepy Joe misreading his teleprompter or just getting confused.
But if you’re not 100% informed on the man’s history, wouldn’t this make you think he was saying he’s a veteran?
“Those of us” clearly includes yourself, since that’s what “us” means. Was Joe saying he served in the military?
Oh, I’m sure his campaign will just say he “misspoke” and try to sweep it under the rug.
But these kinds of mistakes keep piling up with Joe.
How many times is he going to say something confusing, inaccurate, or offense and expect us to tolerate it?
Over his campaign, Joe has said some pretty outrageous things. Some of it is unforgiveable, according to many.
Claiming or even suggesting you were a veteran, when you’re not—is a serious thing. And it should be covered by the media, not ignored.
It could even be considered illegal, as there are laws that forbid people from pretending to be veterans (see: Stolen Valor Act of 2005).
Is that what Joe is doing here? Or he is yet again making a “joke”?
He had better explain himself quick.
- Joe Biden recently seemed to suggest he served in the military.
- Neither Joe nor Donald Trump served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
- This is yet another odd statement from the Democrat.
