For years, Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats have been welcoming as many illegal aliens into the country as they can. Why? Republicans believe it’s ultimately so they can vote in American elections.
This has been a clear slap in the face to millions of law-abiding Americans who feel that illegal aliens are being prioritized over them. Of course, what average Americans think about this doesn’t seem to mean much to Democrats, as they have no problem allowing people who came to this country illegally to vote if it means keeping themselves in power.
Biden showed this again on Monday when he formally rejected a congressional bill requiring people to show proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote in elections for federal office.

A policy statement from the Biden administration said it “strongly opposes” the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which was introduced by Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) earlier this year and is expected to get a vote in the Republican-led House as early as this week, but did not mention the prospect of a veto.“It is already illegal for noncitizens to vote in Federal elections — it is a Federal crime punishable by prison and fines. The alleged justification for this bill is based on easily disproven falsehoods,” the statement said. “Additionally, making a false claim of citizenship or unlawfully voting in an election is punishable by removal from the United States and a permanent bar to admission.”
The statement added, “States already have effective safeguards in place to verify voters’ eligibility and maintain the accuracy of voter rolls. This bill would do nothing to safeguard our elections, but it would make it much harder for all eligible Americans to register to vote and increase the risk that eligible voters are purged from voter rolls.”
It should go without saying that the only people who vote in American elections should be legal Americans. If someone is in this country illegally, they have no business voting in any American election, be it local or federal.
Republicans had been pushing for the SAVE Act, arguing that it is necessary to both combat the border crisis and maintain election integrity.
Democrats, of course, do not feel the same way. There’s perhaps nothing that Democrats care about less than securing the border. Meanwhile, while they constantly preach about election integrity, that is also something that they care little about in practice.
Instead, all Democrats seem to care about is remaining in power by any means necessary. If that means allowing millions of people who shouldn’t be in this country in the first place to vote, apparently that’s just fine with Biden and his fellow leftists. That is, so long as they remain confident that illegal aliens will likely vote Democrat.
It should be noted that Washington D.C. and other blue cities across the country are already allowing local voting by illegal aliens. If Democrat officials get their way, that will be the norm in federal elections everywhere in the not so distant future.
For years, Democrats have allowed an unprecedented number of illegal aliens to pour into this country. They’ve simultaneously been chipping away at election laws that had long been in place to ensure that only legal Americans can vote in our elections.
With Biden more unpopular than ever, Democrats need every vote that they can get heading into this presidential election, whether they come in legally or not. In the months to come, you can only expect Democrats to step up their efforts in making it as easy as possible for countless illegal immigrants to vote.
