Joe Biden has echoed the claims of numerous climate alarmists of a so-called “climate crisis.” Democrats have frequently called on Joe to declare a national emergency to “battle” this crisis. These liberals want the president to spend billions of tax dollars on “initiatives” to save the planet.
Most of Biden’s green agenda has involved throwing tax dollars at green tech companies. He has tried to get Americans to switch to EVs, by shutting down the nation’s oil and gas industries. Now, he is initiating a new plan that is supposed to help battle climate change. But critics are claiming it is yet another socialist scheme.

Biden’s so-called American Climate Corps will, according to the White House, mobilize “a new, diverse generation” of more than 20,000 Americans who will be trained and put to work on conservation, clean energy and environmental justice projects. The ultimate goal of the program is to pave the way for members of the corps to find jobs in the public and private sector.
Biden will sign an executive order to create something called the “American Climate Corps.” This program–price yet unknown–has the goal of training a “diverse” group of 20,000 Americans who will “fight climate change.”
It is unclear how these people will actually be trained. Biden claims these people will be able to find jobs “in the public and private sector.” Their training will involve environmental dogma, including advancing “clean energy” and “environmental justice projects.”
During the announcement, Biden suggested this corps will have a hand in “restoring coastal wetlands” and “managing forests.” State and federal laws are already in place to protect much of America’s natural resources, including coastlands, forests, and so forth. How this corps will do anything to protect these places is unclear.
Members of this corps will be paid for their work. Critics will no doubt accuse the president of spending billions to train Americans to preach climate evangelism. How this corps will be funded has yet to be announced. Biden will either take money from existing programs to avoid seeking approval from Congress.
Without congressional approval, he will be unable to make this dream a reality. However, it is possible that the administration will find loopholes to siphon money from existing programs and agencies to create this corps.
