The upward revision indicates that the surge of inflation as 2024 began was even worse than previously thought.
Big surprise, inflation is worse than we thought. The White House had to admit that inflation in the first three months of this year was worse than it had initially claimed. At first, they said it was 3.3%. In reality, it was 3.4%. How much higher will that number get by the time everything’s said and done?
Joe will even use this to claim he’s winning because it’s still lower than the horrible inflation we had earlier in his administration. But 3.4% is still bad. Prices continue to rise; that’s the point. They haven’t gone down. Americans still need to take out a loan to buy a cheeseburger.
