Presumptive Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden has a plan for America.
His spending plan encompasses everything from infrastructure and healthcare to climate and higher education.
However, these proposed improvements won’t come cheap.
Details of Biden’s spending plan have surfaced and there are lots of billion-dollar and even trillion-dollar investment ideas.
All told, the plan comes with a hefty price tag — one that will be paid back over the span of about 10 years.
During those ten years, though, the American taxpayer will have to ante up…
From Fox News:
Joe Biden, through his presidential campaign, is proposing over $8 trillion in new spending on a variety of programs – an ever-increasing tally that rises to around $10 trillion based on some estimates.
Topping the list is $2 trillion for a “climate plan,” the details of which remain somewhat vague at this point.
Climate change has been a popular talking point for Democrats in recent years, so Biden may be trying to cultivate more support in that area.
Additionally, Biden wants to spend $1.3 trillion on infrastructure and $750 billion on healthcare. Then there’s the $775 billion he wants to spend on universal preschool.
The result could be a big increase in the overall federal budget, which may be a tough pill to swallow due to increased coronavirus spending.
Here’s a sampling of Biden’s plan:
- $2 trillion for climate
- $1.3 trillion for infrastructure
- $750 billion for health care
- $750 billion for higher education
- $700 billion for Biden’s “Buy American” plan
- $640 billion for housing
President Donald Trump has dealt with criticism concerning government spending. But his administration warns that Democrats want to spend even more.
And Biden’s proposal could help prove the President’s point.
As Trump campaign rapid response director Andrew Clark said:
As Biden’s unaffordable left-wing agenda gets more expensive by the day, it’s obvious why he plans to raise taxes on the middle-class.
In addition to being gut-punched by Biden’s tax hikes, Americans will have to grapple with Biden’s war on energy, which will cause higher gasoline and electricity prices while decimating millions of energy jobs.
In conclusion, the Trump team believes Biden’s plan will only accelerate spending and increase the federal deficit.
Ironically, POTUS currently takes a lot of flak for both. Now, how will taxpayers react to Biden’s proposal…?
- Joe Biden’s spending plan for America could cost $10 trillion over a span of 10 years.
- This includes $2 trillion for a climate plan, as well as $1.3 trillion for infrastructure.
- Republicans claim this plan will only increase government spending and drive up the federal deficit.
