Ever wonder why crime is so bad in blue states? It’s because Democrats are embracing a radical view of crime and justice. They don’t think some people break the law because they are rotten. No, they are simply “victims” of a racist and biased system.

This terrible thinking has led to the defunding of police and the elimination of cash bail. Blue states have put criminals back on the streets and rewarded scum bags who prey on innocent victims. In one blue state, a hospital was looking to hire someone to take care of the mentally ill.

And out of all the possible applicants, they picked this guy.

Western State Hospital knowingly hired and promoted a prolific offender. It didn’t end well for the patients in his care, nor Washington taxpayers. He’s now accused of stealing money from mental patients. But he maintained his job thanks to the state’s “equity” agenda that pretends felons are worthy of endless chances.

A Washington State hospital hired Mark James to take care of mentally ill patients. This man had been charged with at least 22 felony convictions including drug possession, identity theft, and forgery. The day they hired him he had just been released from jail 13 days earlier.

Despite all this, the hospital gave this man a job–because of the liberal state’s “equity” hiring policies.

Big surprise, he was caught stealing money from mental patients. And you know the real kicker? This man was earning $118,000 a year. Yup, that’s how liberals reward career criminals who hurt hospital patients. In fact, his supervisor called a man stealing from sick people an “exemplary employee.”

Why would Democrats be this suicidal with their states? Because they fear being called “bigots” or “racist” for firing a piece of garbage who is robbing the mentally ill. Honestly, this mind could have murdered a patient and they wouldn’t have minded.

Don’t want to be called racist! So, let’s hire the loser who has been in and out of prison since the 90s. And let’s put him in charge of our most vulnerable patients!

What’s even worse is that, even after being caught, the hospital refused to fire him. They just moved him to the kitchen. The hospital never fired him, he just resigned on his own. He has yet to face charges for his crime.

You have to work really hard to be this stupid. But if Democrats had their way, this would be the norm in every state in America. Democrats in D.C. are just a pen stroke away from passing laws like this that would affect everyone.
