Well, it’s been months since Americans decided they were better off not drinking Bud Light. Not that it was their fault. Bud Light decided to get involved in the ongoing transgender issue–backing a man known for claiming to be a “girl” online.
The boycott has been one of the most damaging we have ever seen. We knew that Bud Light was no longer the best-selling beer in America. But as its parent company keeps making things worse, Bud Light is the one to suffer. Now, according to a new report, Bud Light has been knocked pretty low.
From The Blaze:
Bud Light is no longer one of the top 10 beers in America following the Dylan Mulvaney controversy, according to a new survey.
According to a new YouGov survey, Bud Light is out of the top 10 most popular beer brands. In the second quarter of 2023, Bud Light was tied for the 14th-ranked beer brand with a 42% popularity rating. Bud Light was tied with Pabst Blue Ribbon beer.
Dang. This is pretty sad. Thanks to Anheuser-Busch’s unwillingness to admit it was wrong to partner with insufferable Dylan Mulvaney, Bud Light isn’t even in the top ten most popular beers in America.
Anheuser-Busch refused to apologize to customers. But its CEO did go out of his way to reaffirm the company’s support for gays and transgenders, twice. Perhaps that’s why, now, Bud Light is tied for 14th with Pabst Blue Ribbon.
There are hundreds of beer brands available in the United States. It is hard for even good beer to break into the top 100, let alone the top 20 or top 10. So, for Bud Light to fall from being the best-selling beer in America to being tied with Pabst Blue Ribbon–a beer pretentious college boys drink–is pretty sad.
Bud Light was the country’s best-selling beer because it was affordable and easy to drink. People didn’t have to worry about politics or transgenderism when they picked up a Bud Light. But the company ruined all that when they decided woke politics was more important than keeping customers happy.
Many companies have “gone woke” thinking they could survive. But Bud Light’s entire success hinged on appealing to non-woke Americans. And they managed to screw that up big time.
- A new survey reveals Bud Light is no longer among the top 10 most popular U.S. beers.
- This comes as a boycott over transgenderism continues into the summer.
- Bud Light’s parent company never apologized to customers but went out of its way to pander to the gay community.
