What’s Happening:
Bud Light has long been the choice of All-American folks who just want a cheap, drinkable beer. It wasn’t pretentious. It wasn’t political. It was just… beer. But the geniuses who run Anheuser-Busch decided to “go woke.” They partnered with an obnoxious and generally unlikable transgender “personality” named Dylan Mulvaney.
They even put his ugly mug on the can.
Kid Rock was outraged and triggered a boycott of the beer. Country music all-star Travis Tritt removed Bud Light from his rider, saying other musicians were doing the same. Now, yet another country music singer is calling out Bud Light for its divisive and sinister move.
From Fox News:
Country music singer John Rich said he pulled cases of Bud Light from his Nashville bar as part of a boycott against the Anheuser-Busch brand for partnering with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney in a polarizing promotional campaign…
“I own a bar in downtown Nashville. Our number one selling beer up until a few days ago was what? Bud Light. We got cases and cases and cases of it sitting back there. But in the past several days you’re hard-pressed to find anyone ordering one…”
How interesting! John Rich owns a bar in downtown Nashville. He explained that, up until recently, the best-selling beer was Bud Light. He had cases of the stuff in the back. But folks just stopped buying it. So, why was he going to keep the stuff around?
Hey, he’s running a business. And he’s not going to waste money buying a beer his customers don’t want to drink.
The woke folks in country music (there is a growing number of them) might attack Rich for joining the Bud Light boycott. But the reality is, he is simply responding to his customers. Americans don’t appreciate Bud Light shoving their transgender agenda in their faces.
They literally put the guy’s face on the can! What red-blooded American wants to drive a Bud Light with some transgender activist’s face staring at them?
We don’t know why Anheuser-Busch pulled this stunt. Maybe they really are radical leftists who support the trans movement. Or maybe they thought this would win them points with Millennials or Zoomers?
Either way, we can predict they will regret this, as have many other companies who betrayed their customers to push leftist politics.
Key Takeaways:
- Another Country music star is boycotting Bud Light, over the company’s transgender move.
- John Rich stopped selling Bud Light at his bar because customers stopped buying it.
- Bud Light partnered with a transgender personality, putting his face on the can.
