What’s Happening:
From the very start of Pete Buttigieg’s time as head of the Department of Transportation, he’s failed. He was MIA when hundreds of ships couldn’t dock, leading to the supply chain crisis. He was also MIA during the critical train workers’ dispute, which could have led to a crippling strike.
In recent months, the man failed to prepare for major outages that left millions stranded in airports across America. There have been massive cancelations and other problems in December, January, and February. And now, this imbecile’s failures could put American lives at risk–as federal lawsuits come firing his way.
From Breitbart:
A federal lawsuit has been launched in the wake of the fiery derailment of a train carrying toxic chemicals along the Ohio-Pennsylvania line last week…
AP reports the lawsuit filed Thursday by two Pennsylvania residents calls for the rail operator to pay for medical screenings and related care for anyone living within a 30-mile radius of the derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.
This is really bad. On February 3, 50 train cars derailed in East Palestine, OH. Ten of those cars were carrying hazardous materials. The fiery wreck forced evacuations, forcing tens of thousands of Americans out of their homes.
And that’s not even the worst of it. The spread of these toxic materials could lead to serious health problems for those within (at least) a 30-mile radius. And that’s not getting to the tens of millions of dollars lost as a result of this wreck (which could be even higher, in the long run).
As all of this is happening, where is the head of the Department of Transportation? It wouldn’t surprise me to learn Buttigieg is on another vacation. What does this man get paid to do? Does he get paid to go on vacations?
We can’t help but wonder if the recent rail workers’ dispute had something to do with this derailment. Because Buttigieg failed to negotiate a deal between rail companies and thousands of employees, Congress had to pass a law forcing them to accept the new union agreements.
Many experts speculated that many rail workers would quit, instead of accepting an agreement they didn’t want. How many have quit so far? Has this in any way contributed to a lack of skilled workers in Ohio–leading to this wreck?
We don’t know for sure, but this can’t be a coincidence. Ever since Biden took over, nearly every corner of American society and industry has declined. All thanks to the morons he put in charge of federal agencies.
Key Takeaways:
- Federal lawsuits have been launched over the toxic train derailment.
- Fifty cars were derailed; some released toxic material into the surrounding area.
- Biden’s Department of Transportation chief once again appears MIA.
