It seems like, no matter our progress, California liberals bring us down. They are on a crusade to over-regulate every aspect of our society.

These liberals overblow every issue in order to give them political influence. They’ve turned concerns for the environment into alarmism. They tried to push a heavy tax on soda drinks, just because of the sugar.

Now a group of activists are forcing companies to put a cancer warning on beverages. What is this deadly, horrific drink? Alcohol? Coca-Cola? Mineral water!? Of course not. It’s coffee.

A judge ruled that Starbucks and other coffee sellers in California must provide a cancer warning on their products for customers.

A nonprofit group sued several companies that sell coffee, including Starbucks, coffee distributors and retailers in 2010.

The lawsuit claimed those companies violated state law, which requires them to warn consumers about chemicals in the roasting process that may cause cancer. One of those chemicals is acrylamide, which is a carcinogen…

The ruling came despite eased concerns in recent years about the possible dangers of coffee, with some studies finding health benefits. In 2016, the International Agency for Research on Cancer – the cancer agency of the World Health Organization – moved coffee off its “possible carcinogen” list.

But facts like that don’t stop liberals from going on a rampage. You have wonder about a group that tries to scare people away from drinking coffee.

This so-called “carcinogen” is only in trace amounts. Labs have proven it’s at harmless levels. We also know that coffee can provide numerous health benefits. Coffee is rich in antioxidants, substances that actually reduce a person’s risk of cancer.

This nonprofit group wants us to think a simple cup of coffee is as deadly as a cigarette. Anything safe and legal they want to police, regulate, and destroy. I wonder if they are so strict about marijuana, the health benefits of are sketchy at best.

It’s much more likely this group of rampaging liberals wants to hamper businesses. They use government to hurt private companies like the rest of the left. They won’t be happy until free enterprise is dead. The only wealth left in America will be controlled by the government.

That’s why they want Starbucks to slap a big warning on their coffee. It’s in the hopes that customers will be scared away. This judge is joining them in this conspiracy.

Yet another reason to get smart, uncompromising conservatives into office. What’s next? Warning labels on bottled water? Disclaimers on apples?
