The liberal elites of California are still in shock weeks after Donald Trump defeated their beloved Kamala Harris. Much to their dismay, Trump trounced Harris not only in the Electoral College but also in the popular vote.

Many of the woke leftists who call California home are so out of touch with reality that they thought Trump’s win was the end of the world. Instead, Trump’s victory is already paying off financially for California in a big way.

Celebrity chef Andrew Gruel is speaking out to reveal that California’s restauranteurs are celebrating Trump’s win. Immediately after Trump’s victory, they saw their sales skyrocket like never before.

“The very next day when Trump won, our sales doubled almost from week on week. And I spoke to restaurant owners all over the place because I posted about that. They were like, ‘Us too,’ ‘Us too,’ ‘Our catering [has] gone up,’ ‘This has gone up.'”

According to Gruel, restaurants are the “best index” for people’s emotions.

“I think it’s just the mere sigh of relief that, okay, this is over,” he said during an appearance on The Big Money Show. “We do know what we saw from the Trump administration. And whether people want to say it publicly or not, they know it’s going to be a stronger economy.”

As Trump prepares to move back into the White House, Gruel has a message for California’s woke Democrats. He urged them to “wake up” to their “crazy” policies.

“It’s not going to go from blue to a hard red [state] overnight,” he stated. “But people are opening up their eyes. They’re waking up.”

“Newsom’s coming to the end of his tenure,” Gruel concluded. “So that will be curious to see how that shakes out in regards to not just him leaving, but also the way in which he addresses policy [on] his way out.”

This Comes As No Surprise

Restaurant sales skyrocketing after Trump’s victory should come as no surprise to anyone who has lived in Biden-Harris’ America. Over the past four years, the economy has gone to shambles, and inflation has dramatically increased.

Things have gotten so bad that millions of Americans have been struggling just to put food on the table. This means that dining out at a restaurant is the last thing that the average American can even consider doing.

Joe Biden and Harris were too focused on enacting woke policy after woke policy to do anything to help the economy. In contrast, Trump is someone who will make fixing the economy a top priority from Day one of his presidency. This is a large reason why the majority of Americans voted for him.

On Election Day, Democrats not only lost the presidency, they also lost the Senate and House. This was a referendum on the entire Democratic Party, with their woke economic policies being at the forefront of that.

Like Gruel said, the woke Democrats of California and other blue states need to wake up. If they don’t drastically improve their policies on things like the economy, they won’t be returning to power anytime soon.
