What’s Happening:
Chuck Schumer was hoping to gain enough power in the Senate to do whatever he wanted.
That includes eliminating the filibuster—which would prevent Republicans from having any say. But two Democrats opposed that move, Manchin and Sinema.
With the filibuster in place, Democrats have to listen to their Republican colleagues. It means they can’t steamroll through with their radical agenda.
But it seems old Chuck still intends to force his plans through, one way or another.
From Twitter:
Senate Majority Leader Schumer on working with Sen. McConnell: “We have one goal – big, bold change in America. We would like the Republicans to join us in some of those things at least, and maybe they will, but we are going to get that change no matter what.” pic.twitter.com/0AxB4ZKDMG

Senate Majority Leader Schumer on working with Sen. McConnell: “We have one goal – big, bold change in America. We would like the Republicans to join us in some of those things at least, and maybe they will, but we are going to get that change no matter what.”
Despite losing the filibuster fight, Chuck Schumer is still calling for “big bold change” to America.
Not explaining what such radical, progressive words mean, he is calling on Republicans to “join” his party. He said if they don’t he will get that “change” no matter what.
Oh, that sounds like the words of a man who loves democracy and freedom, right! “Give me what I want or else! Even if you don’t, I’ll get my way!”
The only way Chuck could sound more like a dictator was if he was slamming his fists on a lecture as he said it.
Schumer has made no qualms about announcing his radical plans for the country. He doesn’t seem to care that he and Congress’ utter incompetence over the years has left Americans disgusted.
Instead of working on anything, they continue to push an impeachment trial. Say, how is impeaching Trump again going to provide COVID relief, Chuck?
And what kind of “big, bold change” do you want? America is hardly perfect, but I think most people like it the way it is.
Unless your “change” is seeing the swamp drained and Americans put first, then we don’t want it.
It’s hilarious to see how these crooks aren’t even pretending to care about us, anymore.
They think that because Trump is gone, they can walk all over the average American.
I have a feeling Chuck is going to be more than a little upset, in the coming years.
Do you think Schumer will be able to force his liberal agenda through the Senate?
Key Takeaways:
- Chuck Schumer lost killing the filibuster when two Democrats blocked ending it.
- But he vowed to bring “big, bold change” to the United States.
- He demanded Republicans join him, or else he’ll get it anyway.
