Chuck U. thought he could slip it in – but he didn’t see Rand coming!

Democrats in both the House and Senate are trying to pull every trick to undermine Trump.

No matter what he decides, they’re against it. If he sends troops overseas, they upset. If he withdraws troops, they’re upset.

It’s as if… they don’t really care about the issues—the just want to contradict Trump!

House Democrats decided to oppose Trump’s decision on Syria by voting on a resolution. Schumer wanted to bring it to the Senate.

He would have then used the resolution as a message against the president and his agenda.

Too bad Rand Paul froze him in his tracks.

Under Senate rules any one senator can try to set up a vote on a bill. But because that requires unanimous consent, any one senator can block it.

Paul, a libertarian-leaning GOP senator, objected to Schumer’s request for a vote, arguing that he was trying to sidestep the Constitution.

Rand Paul blocked Chuck Schumer’s attempt to bring a House-passed resolution to the Senate.

He accused Schumer of trying to circumvent the Constitution, which requires Congress to vote on declaring war directly.

This comes just days after Pelosi and Schumer stormed out of a meeting with the White House.

They could have sat down and discussed the situation with the president. Maybe come to some agreement?

But no, they used the opportunity to once again bash the president before the media.

Schumer tried to then use the Senate to condemn the president. Refuse to work with the White House, it seems all Chuck wants to do is complaint and throw insults.

Thankfully, it only takes one senator to stop this kind of nonsense. Rand Paul, a well-known America first advocate, shut down Chuck’s scheme.

He won’t be able to use the Senate the way Pelosi uses the House.
