It’s safe to say that CNN is the most-ridiculed news network in America.
Once upon a time, it was the leading source of news. Everyone respected CNN. Until, that is, they went entirely leftist. You can’t call what you see on CNN “news” anymore–because their hosts are so blatantly biased. And Americans have caught on, ditching the network for better sources.
Recently, the network has scrambled to recover, firing its president and getting rid of some low-performing hosts. Then they made a big deal of their latest hire, Kaitlan Collins.
You might remember her as the host who tried to skewer Trump a few months ago, when he graciously attended a CNN town hall. She tried to make a name for herself, just before the start of her new show.
Well, it looks like the Trump curse has caught up with her…

Her debut at 9 p.m. on CNN primetime — “The Source With Kaitlan Collins” — was less watched than a slew of sitcom and animated reruns, Radar Online reported. The show came in dead last against its cable news competition with just 540,000 viewers and wasn’t even the top primetime show on CNN, coming in second…
Nielsen ratings showed that Collins’ show came in behind repeats of the “Golden Girls,” “South Park,” “Seinfeld,” “Friends,” and “Modern Family.” Even “SpongeBob Squarepants” beat the lame show.
Ouch. Nobody on CNN’s primetime lineup could bring in one million viewers. But Collins’ new show was the worst. She reportedly could only get 540,000 viewers for her first show, and that’s just a pitiful number.
And you can’t blame streaming services for this pathetic showing. Because reruns of TV shows over 40 years old got more viewers.
Heck, even SpongeBob Squarepants beat Collins at 9 PM. Meaning, grown-ups would rather watch reruns of an old cartoon than suffer through an hour with Collins. The man who gave her the show, Chris Licht, praised her pathetic hosting duties during Trump’s town hall.
Licht, by the way, was fired immediately after moving Collins to 9 PM. That doesn’t bode well for Collins. And now that we know her show is officially a dud, she might be getting the ax too. (The only thing that might save her is the fact she is a woman.)
You know what might save CNN? Actually reporting the news.
If they stopped trying to be a propaganda arm for the Democratic Party, people might actually respect the network again. But do you really think they are going to do that?
