Here comes the Lion of the Senate! 

President Trump and Vice President Pence have been taking extraordinary action to secure our Southern border, but they can’t do it all on their own.

The executive branch is expending all its resources to prevent it from getting worse. But it’s clearly not enough.

One branch can’t do it all on their own – it will take serious legislation in Congress to permanently fix the problem.

Democrats, unfortunately, would rather waste time and money of pointless investigations.  So Pence is using his power as the President of the Senate to get Congress moving.

Vice President Pence declared in an op-ed on Fox News:

This crisis is threatening lives on both sides of the border – and to end it, Congress must act to close the loopholes that drug cartels and human traffickers use to entice vulnerable families to make the long and dangerous journey north to our southern border.

That’s what I’m talking about Pence!

We have got to close the loopholes that allow border jumpers to enter the U.S. using the weak and the innocent.

He demanded Congress to fix federal asylum laws that encourage them to come here. He wants to get rid of the Flores settlement agreement which releases border jumpers into the United States.

And he wants federal law enforcement to stop a policy that forced them to release thousands of minors into our country.

Way to go, Pence! 

We’ve never had a Vice President so bold—wouldn’t you agree?

He is saying the things Democrats in Congress don’t want to hear. They have set policy that makes it almost impossible for Border Patrol to do its job.

The border crisis has revealed how broken and out-of-date many of our laws are.

I mean, how many Americans will suffer in the coming months and years because of our bad laws? How many communities will become like Yuma, overrun with outsiders they cannot support?

How long with Congress ignore this crisis, just to spite the Trump and Pence?

If they refuse to act now with the crisis as bad as it is, all hell might break loose.
