The nation rejoiced when it learned old crone Nancy Pelosi would not be seeking a leadership post among House Democrats. After dividing the nation for decades, she finally ran out of steam. She won’t be retiring though (of course not, there are still more favors she needs to hand out to China), only stepping back to let the party finish crumbling.
It left the question, who will take her place? An established, reasonable moderate who can work with Republicans for the good of the nation? Nope! Democrats opted for identity politics in a move the braindead media is calling “historic.”
House Democrats chose caucus chair Hakeem Jeffries of New York to succeed Nancy Pelosi as leader of the Democrats in the chamber next year, a historic move that will make him the first Black person to lead one of the two major parties in either chamber of Congress.
Democrats elected Hakeem Jeffries, a radical far-left Democrat from New York to become the party’s leader in the House. The media is claiming this is a “historic” move because he will be the first black person to lead a party in either chamber of Congress.
They said the same thing when Joe Biden picked a woman of color to be his running mate. How’d that work out for them?
Instead of finding a leader who can put aside partisan bickering and work with both parties, Democrats are continuing down the path of divisive socialism. Jeffries will be no different than Pelosi, pushing a radical agenda that will alienate moderates and conservatives.
The next time Democrats retake the House, it is likely Jeffries will be picked as Speaker. He is unlikely to do anything that will bridge the gap between left and right. Instead, much like his predecessor, he will champion the same policies that are ruining the country.
Nancy Pelosi spent her final years as Speaker betraying the country. She claimed she wouldn’t impeach former President Donald Trump. But she did so, twice. She refused to negotiate with Republicans and the Trump administration on critical issues, walking out of meetings for a photo op more than once.
And she bullied and threatened her own party, to get moderates to vote for far-left bills. Let’s not forget how she even tried to arrest and fine House members who refused to comply with her radical COVID rules (that she rarely followed herself).
But she is not being replaced by anyone better. Just younger and more leftist.
- Nancy Pelosi has been replaced by Hakeem Jeffries, a far-left Democrat from New York.
- Democrats elected the man, it seems, because of his race, not his leadership ability.
- The media is calling the election “historic,” the same as they did for Kamala Harris.
