Hours After Trump Signs Historic White House Deal – His Approval Rating Takes A Hard Turn

What’s Happening:

Good to his word, President Trump is bringing peace to the Middle East.

Yesterday, he signed a historic deal between Israel, the UAE, and Bahrain.

It was something other presidents could only dream of seeing.

The media has done everything it can to ignore the momentous achievement.

But just months before the election, it’s having a major impact on Trump’s approval:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-six percent (46%) disapprove.

Rasmussen’s daily approval poll, a day after Trump’s historic deal, has the president at the highest approval yet.

Fifty-two percent of likely voters approve of the job Trump has been doing.

This is higher than Obama’s at the same time, which was around 50%.

Keep in mind, Obama enjoyed relatively good press throughout his entire presidency.

Trump, on the other hand, has experienced over 90% negative coverage from mainstream media outlets.

This approval is also significant when you consider the intense year it has been for the country.

The beginning of the year saw a major coup attempt in the form of the Democrats’ impeachment.

After that, the country was thrown into an unprecedented crisis, with a pandemic, widespread panic, and state-mandated lockdowns.

The economy was frozen, with millions put out of work.

Then, as states reopened, leftist anarchists staged riots across the country—for nearly three months. Those riots destroyed homes, businesses, and communities.

If there was ever a time for the country to turn on the president, it’s been 2020.

But his approval is, as they say, above water. Why?

It seems Americans approve of how Trump handled the pandemic. He guided the country, providing assistance, and helped reopen the economy. He even fast-tracked treatment and promises a vaccine.

Over the summer, millions of jobs were added back to the country, despite some states still being locked down.

Trump has taken a strong stance against the rioting, calling for law and order and rejecting the “defund the police” movement.

Despite an overwhelmingly negative press, most Americans approve of the job Trump is doing.

What do you think that suggests for November?

Key Takeaways:

  • President Trump signed a historic peace deal between Israel, UAE, and Bahrain.
  • The next day, his approval reached 52%.
  • His approval is higher than Obama’s, who won re-election in 2012.
