2024 Candidate Fires Accusation at Biden – Claims the DNC “Rigged” Primaries for the President

Ever since Joe Biden was elected President, millions of American citizens have questioned the results of the 2020 election. This included former President Donald Trump, of course.

However, after multiple courts dismissed accusations and inquiries, the idea that Democrats “stole” the election has been deemed “conspiracy theory” by the mainstream media.

Even so, one Democratic candidate is calling out her own party — and her accusation sounds very familiar.

While 2024 presidential hopeful Marianne Williamson isn’t expected to be a major contender for the White House, she’s already making waves in Washington.

She unloaded what might be her most controversial statement yet during ABC’s “This Week,” and leftist politicians and pundits are already condemning it.

After announcing her 2024 bid, she spoke about the ideas of universal health care, guaranteed wages, and tuition-free education. These sound socialistic in theory, but she also spoke about election integrity.

That’s when she accused her own party of “rigging” a portion of the 2020 election in Biden’s favor.

Via The Daily Caller:

Democratic candidate for the 2024 presidential race Marianne Williamson accused the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Sunday of ‘rigging’ the primaries in favor of President Joe Biden.

‘The DNC should not be rigging this system,’ Williamson said. ‘They don’t even pretend anymore. They’re not even covert about their swaying the primary season. They’re very overt about it.’

Williamson specifically went after the DNC’s decision to dump New Hampshire from the first spot of the party’s primary election season. They instead went with South Carolina, where Biden fared well in 2020.

Unsurprisingly, Biden backed this move. And Williamson said this is just plain wrong:

It should be the voters who decide. It should not be the DNC that decides.

Many believe there were manipulated factors in the 2020 election that allowed Biden to walk away with the victory.

This has led to a country-wide distrust of our election systems, as some right-wing Americans believe the entire thing is rigged in favor of liberals. This could logically lead to fewer conservatives voting.

If they’re not convinced that election integrity has improved before 2024, it’s likely that a high percentage of the nation won’t fully trust the election results.

Williamson speaking out about Democrats “rigging” a big part of that election process is raising eyebrows, but it’s definitely something that can’t be ignored.

As for the Democrat presidential hopeful, this marks her second run; she announced a bid back in January of 2019 but dropped out due to lack of support. Afterward, she endorsed Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Given her clear socialist leanings, she might not get much support this time, either.

Even so, shifting the spotlight onto her own party in regards to election manipulation is a bold move — though she’s bound to gain more enemies inside the DNC.

Key Takeaways:

  • Democrat presidential hopeful Marianne Williamson accused the DNC of “rigging” the 2020 primaries.
  • She said moving the first primary spot from New Hampshire to South Carolina (which benefited Biden), was wrong. She said voters should decide.
  • Many Americans believe Democrats manipulated the 2020 election in multiple ways.
