What’s Happening:

With Republicans now in control of the House, they are in the driver’s seat. They have enough votes to pass important pieces of legislation. And, if they are willing to play hardball with Joe and Senate Democrats, they can get plenty done in the next two years.

Bitter House Democrats can only sit and watch. They no longer have the power to push Americans around. You better believe they’ll vote against anything that comes out of this GOP House. Including a recent bill that aims to protect literal babies. You won’t believe what the left said about it.

Senior Democratic lawmakers took to Twitter shortly after the House passed the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires doctors to provide care for infants born alive after a failed abortion, to criticize the Republicans who supported the “extreme” bill…

“Today, instead of joining Democrats to condemn all political violence, [House Republicans] chose to push their extreme anti-choice agenda,” Pelosi tweeted Wednesday…

“The MAGA Republican-controlled House is putting on display their extreme views on women’s health with legislation that does not even have the support of the American people,” he wrote.

Wow, Democrats have really lost their minds, huh? House Republicans passed a bill requiring doctors to provide care for a child that survives an abortion. The bill declares that the infant born alive is a “legal person.” Therefore, it only stands to reason that a doctor should do what he can to care for them.

That is what Democrats are calling extreme. A doctor caring for an infant who survived an abortion. There aren’t words to describe this level of evil. Pelosi called a bill requiring a doctor to do his job “extreme.”

She claimed this was part of Republicans’ “extreme anti-choice agenda.” Except, all this bill requires is for a doctor to take care of a baby. How is that anti-choice? Is Pelosi saying a doctor should murder a baby who survives an abortion?

This isn’t a “clump of cells.” This is a breathing, living human being. And Pelosi wants them dead. Who is extreme?

Schumer, who didn’t vote on the bill given he is in the Senate, blamed “MAGA Republicans” for passing this bill. Even though most Republicans voted for it. Schumer wrongly says that this bill, which again requires doctors to take care of a baby, “does not even have the support of the American people.”

Where is he getting that? I’m willing to wager that most Americans want doctors to take care of living babies. For Democrats to oppose such a basic, moral bill is reprehensible.
