You never can tell what President Trump is about to do. He is an island unto himself. That makes his simply terrifying to his enemies.
The liberal media frequently try to put him in a box. Only for Trump to break out, defying all expectations. That’s just what he did when he ran for President. That’s what he’s doing every day, to the benefit of the American people.
And that’s what he did this morning, when he crashed Fox & Friends. The news show was reporting on the White House lawn. Trump decided to give them an impromptu interview. As the camera crews of every major network crowded around him, he dropped a few truth bombs on the FBI.

President Trump broke his silence on the scathing inspector general’s report with a vengeance Friday, first tweeting that the FBI boss he fired was the “worst” in the bureau’s history, then crashing “Fox & Friends” for an impromptu interview where he ripped the “scum on top” of the Obama-era bureau and said the IG “blew it.”
In the interview with Fox’s Steve Doocy, Trump made it clear he considered Comey the leader of those “minions.”
“I think Comey was the ringleader of this whole den of thieves,” Trump said.
“If you took a poll at the FBI, [I would win],” Trump told Doocy. “I mean the real FBI, not the scum on top.”
It’s common knowledge that the many agents that make up the FBI love the President. They are hard-working, dedicated people who proudly serve their country. Much like the members of other intelligence agencies, they will do whatever they can to protect this country—and our leaders.
We can’t say the same about the people who ran the agency. The ones appointed to oversee the FBI and other groups are political hacks. They are only interested in keeping their jobs for as long as possible—often by pandering to elected officials.
What better name for them than “scum on the top”?
The IG report declares Comey wasn’t politically motivated when he killed Clinton’s case. But we know that’s not entirely true. He may not have been helping her get elected, but he was thinking about the future. Should she win, Comey wanted to stay on as FBI head. Dropping her investigation would have certainly put him in her good graces.
At the very least, his poor leadership and break from FBI norms allowed men like Strzok to undermine the agency. The FBI must be held to the highest standards. They are, after all, responsible for enforcing our laws. Yet we know firsthand that Strzok undermined the agency’s integrity because of his politics. He constantly texted his girlfriend that much!
Not a big surprise Trump rolled out that new nickname, is it?
There is hope for the future. President Trump himself declared Christopher Wray will bring the FBI proudly back. Let’s hope he’s right.
