In the months leading up to the presidential election, tons of liberal celebrities pledged to leave the U.S. if Donald Trump won. Indeed, they were so confident that their beloved Kamala Harris would win that they claimed to be willing to leave life in the States behind if she lost.

Last week, these smug stars got the shock of their lives when Harris was trounced in the election by Trump. Harris lost not only the Electoral College but also the popular vote.

Now, however, at least one bitter liberal celebrity is keeping her promise to leave America. The former Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, who stumped for Harris, has revealed in the wake of the election that she’s moved her family out of the U.S. These days, Longoria’s family splits their time between Mexico and Spain.

“I had my whole adult life here,” Longoria told Marie Claire. “But even before [the pandemic], it was changing. The vibe was different. And then COVID happened, and it pushed it over the edge. Whether it’s the homelessness or the taxes, not that I want to s–t on California — it just feels like this chapter in my life is done now.”

While the homelessness and taxes happened in California under the rule of Democrats, the 49-year-old “Desperate Housewives” star conversely said Donald Trump’s win was also a reason to leave.

“The shocking part is not that he won,” she said of former President Donald Trump’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris. “It’s that a convicted criminal who spews so much hate could hold the highest office.”

“If he keeps his promises, it’s going to be a scary place,” she said, recalling how depressed she felt following Trump’s 2016 win.

Leaving America because of homelessness and taxes and then blaming Trump is truly rich. Democrats are solely responsible for running California into the ground with their woke policies. Thanks to them, the state has become a crime-ridden cesspool full of homeless people and chaos. Despite this, Californians are still forced to pay sky-high taxes for the “privilege” to live here.

It’s that kind of liberal nonsense that Trump is trying to combat with his policies. There’s nothing “scary” about that, Eva.

Longoria Doubles Down

Not stopping there, Longoria went on to whine about becoming disillusioned with American elections.

“It was like, ‘Does my vote really matter? Am I really making a difference?’” she said. “I was so untethered to the core of what I believe because I truly believed in my soul that the best person wins. And then that happened, and I was like, ‘Oh, wait. The best person doesn’t win.’”

That’s what we call a democracy, Eva! Just because you voted, it doesn’t mean your person will always win.

Longoria concluded by saying that she is “privileged” to be able to flee America.

“I get to escape and go somewhere,” she said. “Most Americans aren’t so lucky. They’re going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them.”

Of course, we’re the real “privileged” ones to be living in the best country in the world. We, as a nation, are better off without ignorant liberal elites like Longoria. She can kick and scream with her Hollywood friends all that she wants to, but it won’t stop Trump from making America great again!
