As city officials question who’s funding anti-Israel protests broiling with antisemitism at Columbia University and New York University and point to the nearly identical tents used at these “encampments” occupying campuses, one expert tells Fox News Digital the apparent organization and recent student “training sessions” suggests “foreign assistance.”…While the “hard evidence to prove this is still fuzzy,” given organizing happens “sometimes indirectly or secretly,” Greene said there are “enough signs to make it reasonable to suspect that that is occurring.”
Dr. Jay Greene, a senior research fellow at the Center for Education Policy at the conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation suggested that college students protest Israel and spreading antisemitic views are receiving “foreign assistance.”
School and city officials are noticing that these students have the same tents—despite attending schools all over the country. At a moment’s notice, these camps are popping up with the same tents. Greene also pointed out these protests started right at the start of Passover—putting Jewish students in a “disadvantageous position.” This is not the first time enemies of Israel timed attacks around Jewish holidays.
Another damning sign is that these protesters use the same rhetoric as “foreign actors” who frequently attack Israel, including Hamas and Hezbollah. Dr. Greene’s claims might be given further weight from recent videos that have surfaced, including one that shows protesters shouting anti-American chants.
