Florida Scores Decisive Victory Over Disney – Company Reveals Surprising New Move

What’s Happening:

Some critics have questioned why Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has so fiercely opposed Disney. But if you were to ask the average American, they’d tell you why. We aren’t just battling Democrats in public office. For years, major corporations have been run by Democrat allies. And they’ve been using their massive influence to push leftist politics onto every last American.

It seems the only Republican brave enough to stand up to these corporations is Ron DeSantis.

Hmm… I wonder if that’s because the rest of them are bankrolled by companies like Disney. The Hollywood corporation has made all kinds of threats against DeSantis and Republican-controlled Florida. But it looks like it was all a bluff. Because the major company still plans on sinking billions into the Sunshine State.

From Breitbart:

The Walt Disney Co. is still planning to invest billions of dollars in Florida despite its ongoing legal battle with Gov. Ron DeSantis…

At a recent conference, Disney parks chief Josh D’Amaro reportedly said the company is still looking to expand or enhance existing attractions at Disney World in Orlando to the tune of $17 billion.

Oh really!? Even after Florida revoked Disney’s special tax status, the company announced it still plans on majorly expanding its presence in the state. Disney’s head of parks revealed they were going to spend $17 billion on Disney World and other attractions.

Uh… that’s a big win for Gov. DeSantis. After all of Disney’s blustering, they still know which side their bread is buttered. They can’t just abandon Florida; they must pull in serious dough every year, thanks to Disney World and its surrounding parks.

Disney has tried to interfere with Florida’s government. That only sparked backlash from DeSantis and the state. But if Disney really thought Florida was a lost cause, why drop a whopping $17 billion on expanding their parks?

Because Disney knows it needs Florida. Millions of Americans (and people around the world) flock to Disney World every year, spending big bucks on their rides and games. And, keep in mind, Disney has lost over a billion dollars recently, thanks to woke movies and shows that have bombed.

They can’t very well abandon Florida now, when so much of its business depends on that park. So, Iger and company can whine about DeSantis all they want. They’re still going to have to do business with him, at the end of the day.

Key Takeaways:

  • Disney announced it will spend $17 billion to expand Disney World in Florida.
  • This comes on the news of the “war” between the company and the Republican state.
  • Disney has lost over a billion dollars in recent years, after pushing woke content.
