What’s Happening:

Thanks to a few independent journalists, the world knows what Democrats were up to on social media. Reporters like Matt Taibbi broke the “Twitter Files” reports, which showed Democrats in federal agencies working with social networks to silence American citizens.

This triggered a new House committee that is investigating how the left has weaponized the government. Republicans asked Taibbi himself to testify before the committee on what he learned. But on the very day he was in Washington to testify, the deep state seemed to send a message.

Taibbi, a Substack journalist who played a key role in Twitter owner Elon Musk’s efforts to reveal the social media juggernaut’s once-secret communications, was visited by an IRS agent on March 9. That was the same day he testified before the newly Republican-created Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government about what he learned about Twitter.

How interesting! The very day Taibbi would appear before Congress to report on the weaponization of the government, the IRS showed up at his front door. I’m sure that was just a coincidence, right? They needed Matt to just sign his W2 and everything would be Kosher.

Except, this man was pivotal in proving Democrats have used federal agencies to violate our First Amendment rights–to protect their power. Taibbi blew the whistle on how the FBI, State Department, and many more coerced Twitter (and others) into hiding stories that were damaging to Democrats.

And the IRS just happens to show up at his house, in what looks like an attempt to intimidate him? Remember, not that long ago, Obama used the IRS to audit and harass political rivals. Why would that stop now… with Biden’s lackey in the White House?

This is very concerning. All that Taibbi did was expose an evil plan by politically-motivated government officials. If he had done this for a liberal newspaper, during a Republican administration, he would have been given an award.

But because he is exposing what Democrats have done to violate our liberties and protect their power… the IRS suddenly needs to speak with him.

Do we think they’d do anything differently to us? Democrats are going all-out in their attempts at consolidating and cementing their power. They don’t want anyone, be it Trump or Taibbi, from threatening their plans to make America into a socialist dictatorship.

Are we going to let them get away with it?
