Let me ask you something. While Americans struggle with rising costs and open borders, some members of Congress are going to other countries to trash-talk America. Doesn’t that make your blood boil? A disturbing pattern is emerging. These elected officials seem more loyal to foreign interests than to the American people who put them in office.
This got really bad over the weekend at a radical left-wing summit in Mexico City. The mask finally slipped for one Democratic congresswoman. What she said at this gathering should alarm every American who believes our representatives should put America first. I mean, isn’t that their job?
At the second annual Panamerican Congress, Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL) made a stunning declaration. Speaking in Spanish to the assembled leftists, she proclaimed: “I’m a proud Guatemalan before I’m an American.”
I had to read that twice. Did she really just say that?
Then she accused the United States of prioritizing “imperialism, militarization, conquest, control, competition in its attempt at domination.” This is a sitting member of Congress, people!
A Shocking Declaration
This wasn’t just some random comment. Here’s where it gets worse. Ramirez openly admits on her own website that her husband Boris is in the country illegally. She proudly describes herself as the only congressional lawmaker “in a mixed-status marriage.” She’s basically bragging about harboring someone who broke our immigration laws.
Are you kidding me? This is insane!
Think about that for a moment. A sitting member of Congress took an oath to uphold the Constitution and our laws. But she’s married to someone here illegally. And she declares herself more loyal to Guatemala than to America. How can someone with such divided loyalties represent American citizens? How is this okay?
The Squad’s Anti-American Summit
Of course the Squad was there. Why am I not surprised?
Ramirez wasn’t alone in her anti-American talk. Fellow Squad members showed up too. We’re talking about Reps. Ilhan Omar (MN), Rashida Tlaib (MI), and Ayanna Pressley (MA). They all attended this gathering organized by Progressive International. Get this—that’s a radical group that literally calls capitalism a “virus” that must be “eradicated.”
The summit’s agenda was crystal clear. They want to undermine U.S. influence and shift power away from America. Mexican officials used the platform to attack our immigration enforcement as “persecution.” Colombia’s deputy minister praised Tlaib as a “symbol of resistance.” He got a standing ovation from these radicals. What would our Founding Fathers think?
White House Strikes Back
The White House didn’t pull any punches. And thank goodness for that!
“These Democrats’ comments are despicable and underscore their commitment to putting Americans last,” spokesperson Liz Huston told Fox News Digital. She pointed out how President Trump is working “to secure peace deals, deport illegal alien criminals, and advance America’s interests at home and abroad.”
From ‘Fox News’:
“These Democrats’ comments are despicable and underscore their commitment to putting Americans last. In stark contrast, President Trump is working tirelessly to secure peace deals, deport illegal alien criminals, and advance America’s interests at home and abroad.”
This strong rebuke from the White House is exactly what Americans want to hear. Finally, someone’s calling out this nonsense! But condemnation alone isn’t enough. When elected officials openly declare loyalty to foreign nations over America, there must be consequences. Real ones.
Here’s what needs to happen. Congress has ways to punish members who violate their oaths of office. Censure proceedings should begin immediately. I’m talking about any representative who publicly declares greater loyalty to a foreign nation than to the United States. Some might argue we should kick them out of office entirely. And honestly? They might have a point.
The American people deserve representatives who put America first. Not those who use their positions to attack our nation at foreign conferences. Not those who protect lawbreakers in their own homes. It’s time for voters to remember these betrayals.
We can’t let this slide. I won’t, and neither should you. Congress must take action against those who refuse to honor their most basic duty: loyalty to the United States of America. Period.
