Does Joe Biden have any idea what is going on? Many have suggested he’s just a puppet for the Democratic Party. But as a man who’s been in D.C. for over forty years, we at least expect he’d know how this whole thing works.
During a Democrat fundraiser, Biden dished on a recent meeting with Republican House leaders. During the exchange, Biden actually bragged about showing McCarthy his special pen. Oh, I’m sure that wowed his idiotic supporters. But old Joe was forgetting one thing.

President Joe Biden tried to send a signal to House Republicans during a White House meeting on Tuesday, warning them he could veto any bill he wanted to.
“They were telling me what they could do, what they were going to do. And I said, ‘Yeah,’” Biden recalled, demonstrating that he responded to McCarthy by lifting up his pen and showing it to the room.
“They said, ‘What are you doing?’ I said, ‘A pen. Veto,’” he said.
Uh… did Biden think Republicans didn’t know the president could veto a bill? According to his story, Joe picked up a pen and called it his “veto pen,” as some kind of power play against the incoming Republican-controlled House.
But that little brag exposed more about Joe than he realized. He tried to make it seem like he was still the “big dog” after the midterms. The reality is, though, Biden’s the biggest loser as we enter the next Congress.
The Senate will most likely be divided until 2024. The only real change is that the House is in Republican hands. That’s a problem for Joe, not the other way around. Does Biden think the House passes bills that go directly to his desk?
Biden won’t sign anything unless it is passed by both chambers. Republicans know this. They have no plans of trying to get any bills through this term. But what this really means is that Biden will be unable to get anything done.
Unless he is willing to cooperate with House Republicans, he can expect nothing but gridlock over the next two years. And can Joe cooperate with the GOP? Well, he’s spent the last two years burning whatever bridge he had left with Republicans.
Aside from that, this shows us just how petty Joe Biden is. Does a good leader show off how he can shut down dissent, refusing to work with the other side to help the country? Not really.
Biden should put down the pen and get ready for the mountain of subpoenas that are about to bury his administration.
