Biden Court Pick Gets Silenced on Live TV – She Can’t Answer 2 Basic Constitutional Questions from John Kennedy

What’s Happening:

Since Biden first entered office, one thing became painfully clear. That he was going to pick the very least qualified people to be part of his administration. We’re not sure if he just owed these people favors or if he’s really this stupid. But nearly everyone hired to his staff–or nominated for an important post–seems utterly unequipped for the job.

Some of his nominees were so terrible, they didn’t even make it past their Senate hearings. What’s going to happen to this one–a leftist Biden nominated for a federal court seat? She was asked a very basic question from a Republican senator. This was her answer!

From The Post Millennial:

During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing for President Joe Biden’s Federal District Court nominees on Wednesday, a left-leaning judge could not answer simple questions about the US Constitution.

Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) began by asking Judge Charnelle Bjelkengren, nominee for the Eastern District of Washington about Article V of the US Constitution.

Bjelkengren responded, “Article V is not coming to mind at the moment.”

Ugh… Sen. Kennedy asked Biden’s latest pick for a federal judge seat a question about Article V of the Constitution. This section of the document outlines how the Constitution can be amended. That’s a pretty important part of the Constitution. Something any judge worth her salt should know about.

But Bjelkengren claimed, “Article V is not coming to mind at the moment.” Uh, what kind of answer is that? Sounds like she doesn’t know what Article V is. So, Kennedy asked her another question. This time about Article II.

Sure, any judge should know about Article II. It’s the second article! Yet again, Bjelkengren said she couldn’t remember what Article II said. Wow. Article II of the Constitution, by the way, outlines the executive branch of the government.

You know, the presidency?

How did this judge get so far, without knowing the basics? It’s pretty hard to become a judge. You have to know a lot about the law. Especially the Constitution. And someone angling for a federal judge seat will be ruling on cases that almost exclusively affect the Constitution.

Do we really want someone serving on the bench, who can’t recall the basics? Does she even know the Bill of Rights? The Declaration of Independence? (We know Biden’s VP doesn’t!)

I wonder if this woman got so far, simply because she’s taken advantage of affirmative action. Or perhaps other leftist policies that reward identity over accomplishment. If the Senate has any brains, it will not confirm this joker.

Key Takeaways:

  • A Biden nominee for federal court could not answer questions about the Constitution.
  • John Kennedy asked leftist Judge Charnelle Bjelkengren about the II and V Articles of the Constitution.
  • Bjelkengren did not know them, nor other legal policies brought up by the senator.
