When you hold secret meetings with one of America’s top enemies, we get suspicious.

That’s what former Secretary of State John Kerry did, and now the Department of Justice might have to make a very strong move.

As it turns out, during an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt last week, Kerry admitted to meeting repeatedly with Iranian former Minister Javad Zarif.

He was supposedly holding these meetings to save Barack Obama’s atrocious nuclear deal.

However, nobody knows for sure what was said during these illicit meetings because they were highly illegal.

And now, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) wants the hammer of justice to come down on Kerry’s head; via Breitbart:

“Sen. Marco Rubio called on the Justice Department to probe former Secretary of State John Kerry’s rogue diplomacy with Iran, the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, according to reports.

Rubio called on the agency Tuesday to look into whether Kerry potentially breached the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), which requires individuals representing foreign governments in a ‘political or quasi-political capacity’ disclose their activities to the U.S. government.

The Florida lawmaker is also requesting investigators determine whether the Obama-era official violated the Logan Act, which ‘criminalizes negotiation’ by unsanctioned individuals with foreign governments hostile towards the U.S.”

In a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Rubio reminded us all that Iran is still a U.S.-designated state sponsor of terrorism.

And if Kerry held secret talks with the leader of that nation, then “the American people deserve to know that U.S. laws are enforced regardless of any individual’s past position.”

Kerry further slammed the Trump administration’s strategy with Iran; he accused the current president of not being “diplomatic” enough.

Well, Donald had just one reply to that:

It’s no surprise that one of Obama’s staffers did this, nor is it any surprise that Democrats think “talking” will actually work when dealing with terrorists.

Only Trump is getting things done.
