Democrats think they are above the law because they get away with everything.
But with Trump in charge, justice may finally be knocking on the door of one of the most prominent members of the Party.
Maxine Waters considers herself to be too elite to be subject to the rules.
She lives in a gated, mostly white neighborhood outside of her district, is a notorious race-baiter, and is badly in need of a more realistic wig.
If there is a way to commit a crime, Waters will find it, but her recent campaign finance activities have not gone unnoticed, and now she is facing the wrath of the Federal Election Commission.
The FEC complaint filed by the National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) in July claimed that Waters broke federal election law for reportedly making a $35,000 payment to her campaign fund from the Democratic State Central Committee of California (DSCCC).
The FEC claims that the DSCCC made the payment during the California Democrat’s last re-election campaign to get Waters to include then-Senate candidate Kamala Harris on her campaign’s slate mailer.
“The Democratic State Central Committee of California’s $35,000 contribution to Citizens for Waters violated campaign finance limits,” the complaint states.
The fact that Waters violated campaign finance laws to enrich herself should surprise no one.
Maxine Waters was elected to Congress in 1990. During her time in Congress, her family has made over a million dollars in revenue from Waters’ government connections.
Throughout Waters’ 27 years in Congress, she’s only managed to pass three bills: a Haiti relief bill, the renaming of a post office, and a modification of the national flood insurance program. Additionally, Waters failed to gain much popularity in Congress. Citizens For Responsibility and Ethics in Washington labeled her as the most corrupt member in Congress during the years of 2005, 2006, 2009, and 2011.
But every time her unethical activities are called into question, she has called her accusers racists and/or white supremacists.
That line may work on her idiotic supporters, but the numbers don’t lie. Mad Max is going down.
