The news comes on the back of an apparently difficult year for the woke couple’s charity, which, according to U.S. tax filings, saw an $11 million collapse in donations last year compared to 2022.
State Attorney General Bonta notified Meghan and Harry that their Archewell Foundation has been “delinquent” in paying the required registration fees for the year. They were notified that the organization cannot conduct any work until this is settled.
Meghan and Harry will have to pay late fees as well as the original fees. They will also have to provide records to demonstrate why the payment was late. They likely stopped paying the required fees after AF saw a drop in donations for 2023.
One Spotify executive mercilessly criticized the couple, calling them “f***ing grifters” after their podcast deal fell through. It appears the couple has lost favor with Americans, so they are seeking credibility with international organizations.
