It looks like Joe Biden is in hot water over this Flynn setup. New evidence seems to place Joe and his old boss in a White House meeting where top officials discussed the wiretapped recordings of Flynn’s calls.
In a shock move, the media actually asked Joe about it. At first, Biden flat out denied it.
But when asked again, he surprisingly changed his tune:
From Fox News:
“I know nothing about those moves to investigate Michael Flynn,” Biden initially said…
Stephanopoulos, though, pressed Biden again, questioning whether he attended an Oval Office meeting on Jan. 5, 2017—during the presidential transition period—where Flynn apparently was discussed…
“I was aware that there was—that they asked for an investigation, but that’s all I know about it, and I don’t think anything else …”
Uh… what? Make sure you watch the whole video. At the start, Biden claims he knew “nothing” about the “moves to investigate” Flynn.
After he rants for a few minutes about Trump trying to “distract” us from a crisis we can’t get away from, Biden changes his tune.
ABC’s Stephanopoulos presses Biden again. Suddenly, Biden—when confronted with an undeniable fact—admits he knew about the investigation.
He was literally in the meeting when they discussed Flynn’s investigation. Yet just a second ago, he claimed to know nothing about “those moves.”
So, what is he really saying? It appears Biden has a long reputation of making up history… until he is called on it.
Biden appeared content to say he knew “nothing,” until Stephanopoulos mentioned something Joe couldn’t deny.
“Oh, I’m sorry,” he claims.
Really, Joe? What’s going on?
Why deny something, then suddenly admit the opposite? Is Joe’s mind slipping away as we watch?
Or was he caught in a lie?
I’m not sure which one is worse.
The bottom line is, of course, that Biden needs to cop to the facts. If he was behind the Flynn operation, we must know.
