Jerry thought this guy was a slam-dunk – now he’s triggered!
The second round of phony impeachment hearings just began. This time, it’s Jerry Nadler who is running the circus.
There are no more witnesses from within the administration to drag into these hearings. No more “deep state” agents who want to throw Trump under the bus.
So, Nadler invited law professors to give their opinion on the Democrats’ impeachment push.
Um… okay, how is this a fair and balanced investigation?
But already it looks like Nadler’s plan is falling apart. Because one of these legal experts just shot a hole into his ship.

In his opening statement, Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University Law School, told lawmakers that, while he is not a “supporter” of the president, he is concerned about the “integrity” of the impeachment process based on the case being built against Trump.
“One can oppose President Trump’s policies or actions but still conclude that the current legal case for impeachment is not just woefully inadequate, but in some respects, dangerous, as the basis for the impeachment of an American president,” Turley said.
Uh-oh! One of the law professors who was asked to testify openly declared that nothing Trump did was grounds for impeachment.
In fact, he said that this impeachment push is “dangerous,” because of what will come in later years.
Jonathan Turley even admits he is not a supporter of Trump. Yet he had to admit that the Democrats’ scheme does not hold water.
He called their case “woefully inadequate.” He said that future presidents would be in danger if Democrats could get away with this.
Most Americans can see this impeachment for what is it: an attempt to undo the 2016 Election.
Democrats are going after Trump simply because they don’t like him. Their argument that Trump committed an impeachable offense during that phone call is flimsy at best.
Few agree there is solid evidence to prove Trump did something wrong. Even Turley says as much.
There are three more professors who will testify. All of them Democrats, who might skew the story to help Nadler.
But they will have a hard time explaining away Turley’s statement.
