What’s Happening:
Now that Nancy Pelosi is no longer Big Dog of the House, she is desperate for relevance. She doesn’t have too many years left in Congress. And, perhaps, without all the attention on her anymore, she can let her hair down a bit.
She was recently interviewed, and asked about the upcoming election. Old Nance made a bizarre comment about religion. But then she dropped a bomb on Trump supporters. Even though she called some of them “bigots,” she ended up letting a compliment come out.

“I do think that many of the people who fell for what’s-his-name’s line, because they just didn’t see a path in the future, in the economy the way it was. I think many of them are really patriotic. I think some of them are racist and bigots, but I think many of them are very patriotic,” she said.
How interesting! Sure, she called “some” of Trump’s supporters “racist and bigots.” But she also was forced to admit that “many of them are really patriotic.” Um… duh! This is the same woman who did nothing but slander Trump and his supporters for nearly a decade.
Oh, Trump supporters are patriots, Nance? Then why not let out the hundreds you threw in federal prison!
Now that she is no longer leading the House Democrats’ agenda, she can speak a little more honestly. A major election is coming up in a few years and Pelosi, just like every other liberal, knows Biden’s in big trouble.
Democrats can’t afford to write off Trump supporters as “bigots” and “threats to democracy.” Plenty of people will be fed up with Biden’s failed leadership. They will be eager for a change. Insulting a portion of the electorate is not the way to win the 2024 Election.
And, if Trump is not the GOP nominee, Trump supporters will have to decide who to support. It is likely Pelosi is going a tad soft on some of them, hoping they will consider the left’s nominee.
Not likely. Democrats, along with Biden, have run America into the ground. They opened the border, defunded the police, sent billions overseas, and crippled the economy. Pelosi’s compliment is nice, but she helped create this disaster we are all living with.
She’s going to have to do much more to win over Trump supporters.
