What’s Happening:
We all know Joe Biden is a terrible candidate. Regardless of your politics, you have to be an idiot to support the senile old puppet. Biden’s record is in the toilet as are his approval ratings. And recent polling suggests there is no way he’s going to defeat the Republican nominee.
And despite having a better alternative in RFK, Democrat leaders are still backing the Titanic that is Joe Biden.
But they have bigger problems on their hands. We know that Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin might throw his hat into the ring. If he does, Biden is finished. Even if Manchin decides to sit it out, though, Biden has a very real problem. Because this man has already registered and is running.

Seven years ago, when Hillary Clinton lost to former President Donald Trump, many in her orbit blamed Green Party nominee Jill Stein as a factor that contributed to her defeat. Heading into 2024, Democrats worry West could emerge as a similar spoiler by earning just enough votes to fracture the coalition Biden needs to win.
Well, yes and no, Democrats. Yes, Jill Stein didn’t help Hillary. But Trump didn’t need Stein to kick Crooked Hillary’s butt.
Regardless, Democrats are panicking over Cornel West’s third-party run for president. You might not be familiar with West, but many liberals are. He is a respected philosopher and professor–well-known in liberal, academic circles. He is also a noted civil rights activist, acclaimed within the African American community.
Among liberal-leaning voters, he can certainly bring in enough votes to spoil Biden’s chances. Especially in swing states that Biden needs to win. Many Democrats feared Joe Manchin and his possible third-party run.
But Cornel West is officially running with the Green Party. This is not speculation, this is reality. And Democrat strategists know that Biden only has a slim chance at winning re-election against Trump or DeSantis.
If West pulls away even a fraction of a percentage of the vote, Biden’s finished. Not that we’re crying about it.
