Nunes Opens Investigation Into Whistleblower Report – Schiff And Pelosi Should Be Getting Nervous

Nothing about the Left’s rammed-through impeachment crusade looked right.

After all, how does the president get impeached based on nothing more than accusations by a whistleblower?

A whistleblower, you might remember, that never showed his face. A whistleblower whose complaint was riddled with problems and is still protected by Democrats like Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi.

This thing stinks to high heaven, wouldn’t you agree?

Well, it looks like Republicans, led by Devin Nunes, are finally going to get to the bottom of this.

From Fox News:

House Intelligence Committee Republicans are investigating the intelligence community inspector general for his handling of the Ukraine whistleblower complaint, including potential inconsistencies in his testimony before the panel as part of the Trump impeachment inquiry…

Republicans are looking at the ICIG’s handling of the whistleblower complaint that sparked the impeachment inquiry into President Trump.

House Republicans have been investigating the IG for how he handled the whistleblower complaint.

They are shocked that this complaint was given any seriousness or attention after it was exposed for numerous inconsistencies.

Nunes wants to know about the veracity of the whistleblower’s testimony. He also wants to know why the ICIG’s made changes over the rules of second-hand information—just for this complaint.

You might remember that the so-called whistleblower did not have first-hand knowledge of Trump’s phone call with Ukraine.

In fact, White House staff only told him about it. And even those staff weren’t on the call, they were only repeating what they heard from others.

The whistleblower claimed Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden because he was a potential rival. The whistleblower said Trump froze aid to Ukraine in order to get a quid-pro-quo.

But when Trump released the transcript, we discovered numerous key details about the complaint were just plain wrong.

Why did the ICIG take this complaint seriously from the start, when he knew it was second-hand information (making it less than credible)?

These are serious questions that the IG needs to answer. The Democrats impeached Trump over a complaint that is questionable.

Just like the Mueller report, there is little evidence for us to believe Trump did anything wrong.

Yet Democrats want to remove him from office. Perhaps, the ICIG should have dismissed this complaint long before it led to impeachment.
