What’s Happening:

Good to his word, Texas Gov. Abbott has sent dozens of buses filled with migrants to New York City. And although the city was long ago declared a “sanctuary” its liberal mayor is none too pleased.

Like the mayor of D.C., Adams is ticked off that Texas would dare send migrants, to alleviate the crisis going on at the border.

And Abbott is calling out this mayor’s hypocrisy.

Five more buses arrived in New York City from Texas on Wednesday, the most buses in one day to reach the Big Apple…

“Adams talked the talk about being a sanctuary city — welcoming illegal immigrants into the Big Apple with warm hospitality,” Abbott wrote. “Talk is cheap. When pressed into fulfilling such ill-considered policies, he wants to condemn anyone who is pressing him to walk the walk.”

New York Mayor Adams continues to complain that Texas is sending migrants to his city. New York Democrats proudly declared the city to be a sanctuary for border jumpers.

Yet the mayor is bent out of shape for actually having to deal with a few 1,000 newcomers.

Um… Mayor Adams? Texas has seen millions of these border jumpers in the last two years. Border communities have been overrun by these outsiders.

Over 13 counties have declared it an invasion, desperate for a solution.

And Adams can’t put up with just a 1,000? After welcoming migrants and promising to protect them from deportation?

Abbott blasted Adams’ complaints, calling it hypocrisy. It seems Adams is fine with talking about welcoming outsiders but doesn’t want to do it.

When Abbott started sending migrants to New York and D.C., he invited those city mayors to visit the border.

He reached out to them, so they could work together to end the border crisis. Neither, it seems, took him up on his offer.

They are more interested in complaining to the liberal media—the only thing Democrats seem good at.
