Donald Trump has been a powerful figure in our country for many years.
Long before some of us were born, he was making waves. As a businessman and mogul in the 80’s, his comments in interviews had a tremendous impact on politics.
Jump to the 2010’s, Donald Trump is still making headlines. His popular TV show The Apprentice was leading in the ratings, and he continued to speak out about the condition of our country and our leaders.
Therefore, it comes as no surprise that President Barack Obama was threatened by Trump. Even during his reelection bid, Obama feared Trump’s influence.
We have just learned about a quote Obama made back in 2012, that proves how much the left feared Trump.
From The Right Scoop:
“Some people are slapping their foreheads over a quote in a new book from David Plouffe, Obama’s campaign manager in 2008.
He says that they were really targeting Donald Trump in their jokes for the White House Correspondents’ dinner. It was a strategy to help them win in 2012.
surprised no one plucked this quote yet: I pushed Plouffe right after he said this. He really seemed to believe "there was strategy" w/ roasting Trump at the 2011 WHCD. "Let's really lean into Trump here. That'll be good for us." pic.twitter.com/owXkQP8Hem

‘Let’s really lean into Trump here. That’ll be good for us.’
I mean, 7 years later, looking back, it’s amazing that such a tiny decision to target Trump could result in the vast majority of Obama’s legacy being undone and erased.”
This proves that Democrats were very worried about Donald Trump.
For years, people speculated if he would run for office, and Obama tried to use that attention for his own benefit: he used Trump’s name like a magical mantra, which would get Democrats to support Barack.
Funny how it all backfired, isn’t it?
Democrats thought to prop up Trump and use him as a scapegoat but in the end, ironically enough, America showed they LOVED Trump.
And when that didn’t work, liberals turned to more serious attacks against Trump, which only proved they were getting desperate … and none of that worked, either.
From the start, they’ve been trying to run down Trump and no matter what they’ve tried, they’ve failed. What does this tell you about Democrats’ supposed power to control the people’s opinion?
Right. They don’t have any, and never did.
