Joe Biden might have convinced himself he’s safe, but Trump keeps taking away his support.
It seems like Biden may be taking some longtime liberal backers for granted.
Similar to how Hillary Clinton took states like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania for granted back in 2016.
Recently, groups that were supposed to back the Democrat candidate have broken for Trump.
Now, you can add another group to that growing list:
The Philadelphia Firefighters and Paramedics Union announced today it is breaking with the International Association of Fire Fighters, one of Joe Biden’s biggest allies, and endorsing President Trump. Local 22 said IAFF leaders “lost touch with the will of the membership.”
And, on cue, Trump thanked them for the support:

A GREAT HONOR, THANK YOU!!
Yet another blue-collar union has broken from the Democrats to endorse Donald Trump.
The Philadelphia Firefighters and Paramedics Union have openly endorsed President Trump.
The union accused Biden of losing touch “with the will of the membership.”
This continues with a trend where major unions have left Democrats to get behind Trump.
Most of them have been police unions and first responders. We should not be surprised why.
President Trump is an outspoken defender of the police. And he frequently praises and celebrates our firefighters and those who put their lives on the line to save others.
Meanwhile, Biden has been largely silent as the media and Democrats slander cops and other first responders.
(Several times, rioters have attacked and otherwise obstructed firefighters as they tried to put out fires these groups started.)
This union is saying Biden has lost touch with their people. That is a telling rebuke from a group that historically supported Democrats.
For decades, Democrats claimed to be the party “of the common man.” They got the support of unions, because they promised to help blue-collar workers.
Yet, it seems that Donald Trump has done much more in the last four years to help workers of all stripes.
That includes firefighters and other union members.
- Another union has broken rank from the left to endorse Trump.
- A Philadelphia firefighter’s union is supporting Trump’s re-election.
- They accused Biden of losing touch with the will of their people.
