We should not be hearing about political games right now in America, more than any time in our history. So what is going on in Washington?

Nancy Pelosi has set up a committee in the House with subpoena power to investigate how the Trump administration is responding to this critical situation.

That’s just great. While we need to focus on finding solutions, Democrats are busy getting ready to investigate Trump—again?! So Donald unloaded on them in his daily briefing. From Fox News:

“I want to remind everyone here in our nation’s capital, especially in Congress, that this is not the time for politics, endless partisan investigations. Here we go again. They’ve already done extraordinary damage to our country in recent years.”

“It’s witch hunt after witch hunt after witch hunt,” Trump continued. “And in the end it’s people doing the witch hunt who are losing — and they’ve been losing by a lot. And it’s not any time for witch hunts.”

What is it time for in America? Unity, compassion, and focus on finding a solution to one of America’s greatest challenges.

But Democrats think it’s time for another partisan investigation, another witch hunt.

If they get a chance to investigate, what do you think they will find? Probably some mistakes by the current government, but also many by past presidents.

It looks like the CDC was unprepared. Many states weren’t ready for this either. But you know what, Congress?

Now is not the time to point fingers. Now is the time to lead our country.

Now is the time to find solutions, not take advantage by passing pork-filled bills to spend America’s money on wasteful projects.

And I, for one, want to see this committee shut down—at least until we’re out of the woods.
