Since 2016, Nancy Pelosi has been trying to topple Trump with endless accusations and insults. But what she said recently may be the most bizarre claim yet.
Pelosi and Democrats in the media (as well as Joe Biden) have made the claim that Trump won’t leave the White House, even if he loses reelection.
While Trump has joked about this in the past, they’re taking it seriously. And to top it off, Pelosi just made two jaw-dropping comments on live TV:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi warned that President Trump should prepare to be “fumigated” out of the White House if he refuses to leave…
“I’m second in line to the presidency, and just last week, I had my regular continuation of government briefing,” Pelosi said. “This might interest you because as I say to them, this is never going to happen — God willing, it never will — but there is a process.”
Pelosi’s quotes sound more like someone eager for the White House herself, rather than a supporter of the Democrats’ official candidate.
She claimed Trump might have to be “fumigated” out, suggesting that the President of the United States is some kind of pest that doesn’t belong there in the first place. She then tries to convince viewers that she respects our democracy. A bit of a contradiction, it seems.
Why is she boasting about being “second in line” for the presidency? Does she think something drastic would happen that could put her in the Oval Office?
Her words suggest she’s less interested in upholding our democracy and more interested in assuming power herself.
She is second in line because her party made her Speaker. That was not based on the will of the American people, but pressure from a group of partisan colleagues. If she is eager for the big job, she wants it the worst way possible.
Not through democracy, but death and tragedy.
Her words ring as hollow as they do hypocritical. She is claiming Trump will refuse to leave the White House, suggesting he is an enemy to our democracy.
Yet in the same breath, she talks about taking the White House in the least-democratic process available.
Come to think about it, she might not even be the Speaker next year, if Republicans flip the House.
Republicans have a record number of young candidates fighting for vulnerable seats this election. There is a good chance they can retake the House, making Kevin McCarthy the next Speaker.
So, all of Pelosi’s hopes will be dashed, anyway. Not that she appears qualified for any job in public office.
- Nancy Pelosi said Trump will have to be “fumigated” out of the White House.
- She went on to boast that she is “second in line” to take the Oval Office.
- The woman has frequently criticized the president, rather than work with him.
