Trump will be happy to see this – but liberals won’t be.

We are closer than ever to securing the border. President Trump declared a state of emergency.

Democrats have tried to stop him through the courts. But chances are, they won’t get far.

Their only hope is if members of Trump’s own cabinet would turn on him.

But that doesn’t seem likely. The Pentagon has a big announcement coming.  From MSN:

Sometime in the next few days, Shanahan plans to endorse President Donald Trump’s declaration of a national emergency along the southern border, according to people familiar with his thinking. That will free up $3.6 billion in the Pentagon budget for building new sections of border wall and other projects.

With support from Shanahan, Democrats’ dream of an open border is over.

That $3.6 billion would go a long way in ensuring the border wall.

Keep in mind, Donald Trump is famous for getting construction projects on time and under budget.

It would be no surprise if he used that $3.6 billion to completely finish the wall.

Democrats have tried to stop Trump’s plans every step of the way.

They have proven they care more about outsiders than American citizens.

They’ve only continued to fail.

Should Shanahan certify Trump’s lawful declaration, he’s all but secured his position of Secretary of Defense.

That’s a good thing. We don’t want another SoD who refuses to support the Command in Chief.
